The Spirit of Troy is the largest student organization on campus and functions as a part of the Division of Student Affairs, not the USC Thornton School of Music or Athletics. Most people are surprised to learn that the band must generate 75% of its operating funds from contributions or through “for hire” performances. Without these additional dollars, there would not be sufficient funds to meet the cost of such critical items such as new instruments, uniforms, and especially travel.
How Donations Work
